The Department performs advanced and complex surgical procedures on a routine basis. A well-equipped ICU takes good care of serious patients in Pre and Post Operative period.

All types of routine and specialized surgeries are done by this department and all emergencies are taken care of in the shortest possible time. Polytrauma cases are handled with absolute proficiency due to support from other auxiliary departments.

• OT is well equipped with advanced anaesthesia monitors, Electro surgical units, laproscopic unit, harmonic scalpel etc. which enables us to perform complex GI cases. Some of our services are
• Basic and advanced Laproscopic surgery for various intra-abdominal problems viz. gall bladder stones, appendicitis, hernia, intra-abdominal tumors, splenic pathology etc.
• Complex liver, biliary and pancreatic operations are routinely performed.
• Acute abdominal emergencies and abdominal trauma routinely treated.
• Gastrofundoplication, hemicolectomy performed.
• Lap assisted esophageal resection performed for esophageal cancer.
